Shelley
A. Smith
Shelley, a graduate of the University of California
at Berkeley, (B.S. IEOR 1980) and Willamette University College of Law (J.D. 1993),
is a member of the Washington State Bar. Shelley has dedicated her career to the
real estate profession. She began her career with a San Francisco bay Area management
consulting firm, providing expertise to many of the major real estate developers
across the nation in addition to many major U.S. Corporations. After five years of
experience as a real estate consultant, Shelley joined a premier commercial real
estate firm in the Silicon Valley, where she focused on the marketing and sales aspects
of real estate from 1985 through 1989.
In 1989, Shelley chose to further her career by enhancing her education with a degree
in law. After graduation, Shelley moved to Seattle, where she met Greg Lawless. Together
they founded Ballard Escrow.
